Eligible students: 

  • must graduate in spring 2011
  • Intend to pursue a bachelor's degree
  • Critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family is preferred, if higher explanation must be provided)
  • Involvement in co-curricular and community activities
  • Minimum of 2.0 GPA
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

9/08/10 > John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest

Win scholarship money - $10,000 for first place; $1,000 for second; $500 for up to five finalists.

Win an expense-paid trip to Boston - inludes recognition by Caroline Kennedy at the Profile in Courage Award Ceremony at the JFK Presidential Library and Museum.

Enhance and develop research and writing skills.

5/10/10 > Wendy's High School Heisman Award - Deadline is Oct. 3, 2010

The Wendy's High School Heisman award honors both male and female students who excel in academics, athletics, and student leadership.  Students entering senior year are eligible to apply.  Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA and participate in at least one school-sponsored sport.

2/08/10 > AES Engineers--Deadline October 8, 2010

 

10/15/09 > Prudential Spirit of Community Award - Deadline is Nov. 2, 2009

Students have until November 2, 2009 to apply online through http://spirit.prudential.com or www.principals.org/prudential (access key: SPIRIT)  After submitting electronically, applicants must print, sign and give them to Mr. Good, who will select the school's top applicant.
